Asian Roast Chicken

Asian Roast Chicken
An easy dish with a lot of flavor!

Servings 4-6

8 chicken thighs, skin on
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup chopped green onion
2 tbsp sesame oil
3 tbsp honey
4 cloves garlic (minced)
¼ tsp ground ginger
¼ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp crushed red pepper (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Place chicken skin side down in a large baking dish.
3. Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl and then pour on top of the chicken.
Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
4. Turn the chicken over in the dish and place under high broiler for 5 minutes or until skin is dark brown and crispy (not burnt).

Options: Use brown sugar or regular sugar instead of honey. Use ½ tsp fresh ginger. Serve with Jasmine rice.
